How long have you been playing on our server?
I've spent around an hour on the server.
Have you ever been banned from this server? If so, explain why.
No i have not.
Why do you want to be a staff member on this server?
Recently I've had nothing to do after college, so I've decided to apply for this server and see how it goes. My main goal is leave a mark within this community by helping out newcomers and those who have been actively playing on the server, with the issues they may occur while playing on the server.
What skills or experience do you have that would make you a good staff member?
I've managed and directed multiple communities, most communities are managed were medium to small sized communities where management is needed to keep everything running smoothly. As of recent my highest position within the staff team in a Garry's mod server was Administrator, which I've worked up to from just being a trial moderator. I believe i would be a great candidate to join this community's moderation team. and i believe that my previous experience managing and moderating communities could benefit the other members of the staff team by giving them tips on how to deal with difficult situations and how to keep moderation professional.
How would you handle a player breaking the rules in-game?
When it comes to handing a rulebreaker it's best to have solid proof of the person breaking rules which can be used to provide evidence of the player breaking a rule and help you keep your position whenever the reported player decides to complain about false report. When you're ready to deal with the player breaking server rules your first action is to take them into a sit and confront them about the rule that they have broken, explain them which rule they have broken and tell them not to do it again by either giving them a verbal warning or a straight out warning depending on the severity of the rule they have broken. It is also best to give them the link to the MOTD for them to read just incase they haven't read the server rules before playing on the server. After you've handled the sit you return them to their previous location and return to your previous duties.
How would you handle a conflict between two players, or a dispute involving a rule break?
When it comes to conflict between two players its best to treat both parties equally, even if the other person that has been taken into the sit is your friend. You will gather evidence of them breaking the rule and punish them equally on the rule that they have broken. It is also common that an argument will start during a sit so your best bet is to calm the situation down, if that doesn't work out you can just mute both of them and explain the situation that way.
Are you active and available to play on the server?
I'm a college student so i can be around 2 to 3 hours a day depending on the time of the day whenever I'm busy or not.
Do you have Discord? If yes, what is your Discord username?
Yes i do. My discord username is Cherryqueeny
